Seasonal Care

Spring and fall services that reset your property and protect turf through seasonal change.

Spring Cleanup

Spring cleanup includes a complete cleaning of turf and landscaped beds with haul-away of collected debris. Additional heavy-detail tasks, such as pine needle or branch-heavy cleanup, can be added as hourly work.

What's Included:

  • Winter debris removal
  • Leaf and stick cleanup
  • Bed cleanup
  • First mow of the season
Wheelbarrow ready for spring yard debris cleanup

Benefits

  • Faster spring green-up
  • Disease prevention
  • Clean, fresh start

Fall Cleanup

Fall cleanup is built around Minnesota leaf-drop timing and typically includes up to two visits for leaf removal from lawn and beds, plus final mowing. Debris is hauled away, with options for additional late-season visits when trees drop late.

What's Included:

  • Complete leaf removal
  • Bed cleanup and preparation
  • Final mow of the season
  • Debris removal
Autumn leaves scattered across a lawn for fall cleanup

Benefits

  • Prevent lawn damage
  • Reduce pest overwintering
  • Ready for spring growth

Dethatching

Dethatching (power raking) removes the dense layer between soil and grass that can block water and nutrients. We remove and haul away debris so your lawn can recover faster and absorb fertilizer, oxygen, and moisture more efficiently.

What's Included:

  • Professional power dethatcher
  • Thatch debris removal
  • Lawn assessment
  • Post-treatment recommendations
Lawn texture showing dense surface growth for dethatching treatment

Benefits

  • Better water penetration
  • Improved nutrient uptake
  • Healthier root system

Aeration

Our core aeration service stimulates root development, improves water uptake, and reduces soil compaction. We pull core plugs and leave them on the lawn to break down naturally, returning nutrients back into the soil profile.

What's Included:

  • Core aeration process
  • Optimal timing (spring/fall)
  • Deep soil penetration
  • Plugs left to decompose naturally
Close-up turf texture representing aeration and root-zone airflow

Benefits

  • Reduced soil compaction
  • Deeper root growth
  • Improved drought tolerance

Overseeding

Overseeding introduces high-quality seed into existing turf to improve density and color in thin areas. It pairs especially well with aeration to improve seed-to-soil contact and support stronger establishment before winter.

What's Included:

  • Premium grass seed blends
  • Soil preparation
  • Proper seed-to-soil contact
  • Watering instructions
Young grass blades representing overseeding and new growth

Benefits

  • Thicker lawn coverage
  • Improved grass varieties
  • Natural weed prevention
